On the Structural Characteristics of a Health 2.0 Platform
Submitted by sunit on Sat, 04/26/2008 - 00:38.About 2 years ago in the summer of 2006, there were perhaps 3-4 sites where one could rate and review physicians. As the summer of 2008 approaches, there are over 30 such sites. All of these sites are competing for the same eyeballs, hoping these eyeballs might also submit a review for a physician or three. Needless to say, there is no single dominant player -- not one has crossed over a million ratings. And given the current state of these web sites, no viable player from amongst these appears likely to emerge.

Submitted by sunit on Sun, 12/02/2007 - 01:46.I am currently reading a wonderful book by Peter Morville and Louis Rosenfeld called Information Architecture for the World Wide Web. The book is a treatise on the philosophical underpinnings of information archiecture (IA) with emphasis on its political economy, for lack of a better term.
